how do you sell a renault scenic rx4 we have tried everything?

Why are you having problems selling it?
I’ve just checked on eBay and there is plenty selling on there.
Have you tried eBay, local mags, auto trader, a poster on the car saying for sale?
Try lowering the price or making the car look nicer – if it doesn’t already. Get anything that is wrong with it fixed, even if it is a slightly none shutting window etc.

IS IT TOO BIG A RISK TO BUY THIS CAR?

My step daughter is a registered child minder. She needs a bigger car. She has seen a Renault Scenic for sale at just over £2k. It has 91,000 on the clock. She would be buying a newer car next November when she has the funds. Is it a good car to buy? Is the mileage too high? SERIOUS answers only please. Ta.

Whether the car itself is any good or not depends on the age, the newer ones tend to be better built etc, however models past 2001 aren’t so bad. Renault have had problems with the electronic features in the past, so this is something to look out for. The age is also another important point and indicates how the mileage has been done, obviously 91,000 miles in 2 years would be high but over 8 or 9 years would be average. As your step daughter is a registered child minder, i take it she will not want a car that will let her down, so this is an important decision! The price really depends on so much, like bodywork/interior condition and the trim level (air con, electrics?). Sorry I don’t think i can be much more help than that..
