How to reset the service indicator on a V-reg (99) renault laguna any ideas thanks ?

Hi – I have seen that some of the later Lagunas can be reset using a combination of dash switches-does anyone know if the same is possible with the older types and in particular the 1999-2000 model?
Defraud??? _ no – I service the car myself and its annoying to to have a message to say its still due an oil change!

The Oil and Service lights on this model are warning or malfunction lights.
The oil light comes on if it is low and will go out then it is at the correct level.

Renault Cabriolet
Why does my megane have an itermittant vibration coming from the front offside wheel?

I have a 2000 Renault Megane cabriolet and it has recently developed a vibration coming from the front off side wheel. This is only intermittent and only after running for some time i.e after 20 minutes or so. When the vibration starts I can stop it by turning the steering wheel sharply or applying the brakes.
I have jacked up the car and there does not appear to be any play in the wheel so I am not sure if it is the wheel bearing or not.
Has any one had a similar problem or more importantly the solution.
Thanks in advance

Couple of things.

Drive along and take your hands off the wheel, if the steering wheel wiggles from side to side rapidly your wheels need balancing.

If the wheel stays still but the vibration is still apparent through the seat and pedals, then it’s the rears that need balancing.

Generally speaking though, if it stops when you hit the brakes or turn the wheel, you should also get the wheel bearings checked out. They create a vibration that is intermittant with cornering (i.e. vibrates round left corners, but fine round right corners) then it’s one of them.
