How to reset the service indicator on a V-reg (99) renault laguna any ideas thanks ?

Hi – I have seen that some of the later Lagunas can be reset using a combination of dash switches-does anyone know if the same is possible with the older types and in particular the 1999-2000 model?
Defraud??? _ no – I service the car myself and its annoying to to have a message to say its still due an oil change!

The Oil and Service lights on this model are warning or malfunction lights.
The oil light comes on if it is low and will go out then it is at the correct level.

Renault espace remote control fault?

i got renault espace expression auto 2002 2 ltr. the remote central locking is not working, i ve changed the batteries but still no luck the light in remote does flash, the central locking system does work from inside. Any body with some knowledge, many thanks in advance to every one.

The key may have gone out of synchronisation. Get in to the car, close all the doors. Press and hold the central locking button down, keep the button pressed. The doors should lock and unlock in quick succession. After this has happened, press the button on the button on the key several times. It should resynchronise. if that does not work, try pressing and holding the button on the key, keep it pressed until the light on the key stops flashing, when the light stops flashing, press the button three times. Hopefully this will work and save you having to go to a renault dealer.
